Fear not, anxious pet owners: dogs' noses are naturally often wet.
American Kennel Club (AKC) Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Jerry Klein said: "Dogs have a highly developed sense of smell that they rely on to navigate the world, and wet noses work better. "Dogs' wet noses offer some form of cooling when they're hot. A dry nose doesn't always signal a problem, though, so assess your dog as a whole if you think he/she is sick.
