Why Do Dogs Eat Grass?

At one time or another, your dog has likely meandered into the backyard and chowed down on a patch of grass. Though this action seems quite bewildering to us, the answer for our dogs is relatively simple. Grass contains an enzyme that settles the digestive tract, so when your dog takes a penchant for mowing down on a pile of “greens,” he’s really trying to calm his upset tummy.
