Is it OK to use Neosporin on dogs?

Can you put neosporin on a dog? Neosporin, also called triple antibiotic ointment, is safe to use on dogs in small amounts for minor cuts and scrapes. Follow the instructions on the package and keep your dog from licking the area where it is applied for at least 15 minutes. Once the ointment has been absorbed into the body there isn’t a serious danger to pets, although the oily base can cause an upset stomach. 

Neosporin can be used topically to treat minor cuts and scrapes in dogs, just like in humans. Neosporin for dogs.
